<March> is not merely a display of visual figures, but rather an embodiment of the repetitive act of creation throughout the course of a month, as implied by its title. The act of spherifying a clay mass between your palms, pressing it down evenly into a suppressed egg yolk figure, collecting a set of similar pebbles from a walk, and stacking them on top of each other, is repeated daily, representing daily prayers. These prayers take shape as a small stack of pebbles above an innocent and vulnerable yellow egg yolk figure, which serves as the inherent symbol of our everyday life in this work. Like the egg we open and consume every morning, it stands as the foundation beneath our prayers and their realisation.
