Documenting and reading a conversation.

There exists an innate longing to seize and cherish life's precious moments,
and conversations are often an integral part of those memorable moments. However, conversations are not easily subject to documentation. While audio and video recordings may come closest to a factual representation of the conversation, they are unlikely to encapsulate the emotions and minds behind it. Furthermore, the fleeting, serendipitous, and fluid nature of conversations is at odds with the typical methods of documenting due to its temporal constraints.

To address these challenges, this project aims to push the boundaries of traditional documenting by challenging the typical positions of performer, documenter, and spectator. Through the performance instruction 'Two people playing catch, but not with a ball', these roles are intentionally blurred. The act of performing the conversation becomes the act of documenting, while the performance itself becomes the documentation. Additionally, spectating it becomes another performance, recreating the original experience. By collapsing these roles of documenting, this approach allows for the capturing and sharing of the essence of the experience, rather than being a prosaic reflection of an event.
